Happy Cinco de Mayo, and happy NASCAR Cup Series race day from Kansas Speedway! On Sunday, May 5, the stars of the NASCAR Cup Series will wage a 400-mile war around the 1.5-mile oval in Kansas City, Kansas, and since the adaptation of the Next Gen car in 2022, this track has played host to some of the best racing in the sport.
The day’s television coverage begins at 2:00 PM ET with NASCAR RaceDay on FS1 (streamable on the FOX Sports App). After a one-hour pre-race show, the official race broadcast will begin on FS1 at 3:00 PM ET.
Christopher Bell will lead Ross Chastain and the other 36 drivers in Sunday’s AdventHealth 400 field to the green flag as he scored the pole for this event with an impressive fast lap in the final round of Saturday’s qualifying session.
Noah Gragson, who comes into this race on a two-race top-10 finish streak, snagged his career-best starting spot with a third-place qualifying effort.
