Welcome my friends to the show that never ends. After a day filled with ARCA fun and NASCAR Xfinity Series practice and qualifying, it’s time to rack ’em up for some more on-track action at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday, August 17.

The day’s televised NASCAR action will kick off with NASCAR Cup Series practice at 12:30 PM ET on USA Network (streamable on the NBC Sports App). Practice will be followed by the two-round NASCAR Cup Series qualifying session around the 2-mile oval in Brooklyn, Michigan at 1:20 PM ET on USA Network (NBC Sports App).

After the field is set for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan, the NASCAR Xfinity Series will prepare to battle it out in the Cabo Wabo 250. The NASCAR Xfinity Series pre-race show will commence at 3:00 PM ET on USA Network (NBC Sports App).

And the pre-race show will be followed by the official Cabo Wabo 250 race broadcast at 3:30 PM ET on USA Network (NBC Sports App).

Sheldon Creed, who took the pole on Saturday, will lead the pack into Turn 1 on Saturday afternoon.

Riley Herbst, who won the Series’ most recent event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway three weeks ago, will start from the outside of the front row.

John Hunter Nemechek, who won this race a year ago, will start from the 10th starting spot. (Click here for the complete starting lineup).
