A chance at the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs comes down to this weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. One thing looks certain, the weather shouldn’t play a factor in who advances.

While the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series cars can compete on road courses in the rain, it does not appear that the rain tires will be needed at all this weekend.
