There will be no chance of a NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday, as weather and an unforgiving radar have forced NASCAR to postpone the Wurth 400.

The race, which had been moved up from Sunday at 2 PM ET to Sunday at 1 PM ET has now been moved to Monday. The NASCAR Cup Series Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway will take place on Monday, May 1st at 12:00 PM ET.

FS1 will remain the network for the race’s television broadcast. PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will also remain the radio broadcast networks for the event.

While Weather.com forecasts an 85-98% chance of rain throughout the day on Sunday, the Weather Channel is only predicting a 6% chance of rain on Monday.

When the NASCAR Cup Series Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway finally goes green, Kyle Busch will start the race from the pole alongside NASCAR Cup Series point leader Christopher Bell (click here for the full starting lineup).

The starting lineup for the race was set by the NASCAR Metric Formula after rain washed out qualifying on Saturday.
