After an explosive first presidential debate on Tuesday night, fans at the Talladega Superspeedway will spot a familiar red, white, and blue paint job on a brand new entry.
The Trump 2020 colors, which have been featured on Corey Lajoie’s Go Fas Racing Mustang, will move to Timmy Hill’s No. 66 Mustang for one race at Talladega this weekend.
The deal is in a partnership with Go Fas Racing and MBM will run a Mustang instead of the traditional Toyota.
While the car is not being paid for directly by the Trump 2020 campaign, it’s being funded through the Patriots of America PAC, a group dedicated to the re-election of the current sitting president.
The Trump 2020 colors have adorned the No. 32 of Corey LaJoie at Go Fas Racing for a handful of races this season after a nine race deal was announced earlier in the season.
“It is an honor to represent the 2020 effort to reelect President Trump,” said MBM Motorsports owner Carl Long. “This marketing partnership is a group effort between Go Fas, MBM, and NXT with Mike Contarino. The last time we partnered with NXT, it appeared we were headed to a top 10 finish in the Daytona 500. We are expecting to have the same performance this weekend at Talladega. We would like to thank RoofClaim.com for working with us by using this paint scheme and the primary sponsorship locations on the car in this effort to help reelect President Trump. RoofClaim.com will be on the car as a major associate sponsor. Under the Trump Administration, we were enjoying the most growth since MBM was created because of a strong economy. We are still surviving but hoping we can get back to where we were before the COVID pandemic.”
Hill has competed in nearly every Cup Series race this season, earning a best finish of 19th at Bristol earlier this spring.
He found the lime light during the eNASCAR Pro Invitational Series , winning at Texas, and finishing in the Top-5 in nearly every race of the short-lived series.
You can see the Trump 2020 Mustang on-track this weekend at Talladega on Sunday, October 4th at 2:00 PM EST on NBC and the NBC Sports App.
