At Texas Motor Speedway this past Sunday, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series rookie Matt Tifft outlined the steps for doctors understanding what caused him to suffer a seizure, which will sideline him for the remainder of the season, at Martinsville Speedway a couple of weeks ago.

In the conference with the media, Tifft stated that the first step was an EEG test.

In an update post to Twitter by Tifft on Wednesday, it shows that he is currently taking part in the EEG test.

Hopefully the test comes back with solutions for his medical team, and he is able to return to the race track as soon as possible.
