Liberty University Releases 2024 Sponsorship Schedule for William Byron

On Wednesday, Liberty University released its 12-race primary sponsorship schedule for NASCAR Cup Series star William Byron and the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ahead of the 2024 season.

The school, which has served as a long-standing partner of the 10-time NASCAR Cup Series winner, will begin its sponsorship campaign with the season-opening Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum on February 4.

In doing so, the paint scheme on the No. 24 Liberty University Chevrolet Camaro will remain unchanged from the 2023 season, where the institution backed the Charlotte, North Carolina native in 13 NASCAR Cup Series events.

Byron will carry the colors of Liberty University for the second time at Bristol Motor Speedway (March 17), the first points-paying event in which the red, blue, and white colors will don the legendary No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro.

The 26-year-old driver will then carry the school’s colors for the second time in March at Richmond Raceway (March 31), before three appearances in the month of April at Texas Motor Speedway (April 14), Talladega Superspeedway (April 21), and Dover Motor Speedway (April 28).

Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 26), Iowa Speedway (June 16), Daytona International Speedway (August 24), Darlington Raceway (September 1), Watkins Glen International (September 15), and Martinsville Speedway (November 3) will also feature an appearance by the Liberty University Chevrolet.

At 26 years old, Byron is entering his seventh full-season campaign in the NASCAR Cup Series, after a breakout season that saw him capture a series-high six victories and finish third-place in final point standings after advancing to the ‘Championship 4’.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver is currently pursuing a B.S. in Strategic Communication through Liberty University’s Online Programs, while also balancing the day-to-day duties of competing full-time at the highest level of stock car racing in the United States.
