What can’t Kyle Larson win in? It’s beginning to look like the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion is quite possibly the most versatile racer in modern motorsport.

The 30-year-old racer added another notch to his belt Tuesday night at Eldora Speedway as he scored the win in Heat Race No. 6 and followed that up with his first-career feature victory in a Dirt Modified as he took the victory in the DIRTcar Racing Feature event, and pocketed $1,000 in the process.

And not only did Larson, who was driving the No. 7L car owned by Justin Allgaier, score the victory, but he did it in convincing fashion as he came out on top of Tyler Nicely by an impressive 6.450 seconds.

Trevor Neville came home in third, Drake Troutman was fourth and Michael Altobelli rounded out the top-five finishers in the 20-lap feature race.

With the win in his first-ever dirt modified start, Larson has now scored victories in seven separate racing divisions, including the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, at Eldora Speedway.

It’s been a great week for Larson, who pilots the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series. This past Sunday, the California native tallied his second NASCAR Cup Series victory of the 2023 season as he utilized strategy to gain track position, and incredible skill behind the wheel to get around Joey Logano for the race win at Martinsville Speedway.

Larson now has 21 career wins in the NASCAR Cup Series and he sits fourth in the 2023 championship driver standings as he is on a quest for his second NASCAR Cup Series championship.

A win in a totally new discipline of racing on the dirt on Tuesday night should do nothing but add additional confidence for Larson as he forges forward this season.
