Josh Bilicki will get a turn behind the wheel of the No. 66 Garage 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in next weekend’s Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway, and he’ll do so for a good cause.
The 29-year-old racer will pilot a special black and purple race car, which will be sponsored by MANSCAPED. Through the primary sponsorship, MANSCAPED will raise awareness for testicular cancer by featuring the Testicular Cancer Society’s branding on the hood, and sides of the race car.
MANSCAPED, which has been partnered with the Testicular Cancer Society for five years, recently announced special-edition TCS-branded products to drive awareness throughout the month of April, which is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month. Purple, which is the color featured on the No. 66 car to be driven by Bilicki, is of course the signature color signifying testicular cancer awareness.
“Our partnership with TCS has always been fueled by one goal: to save balls by raising awareness for testicular cancer and the life-saving power of early detection,” said Lucas Coyle, Associate Director, Brand Marketing at MANSCAPED. “This year, we’re bringing that message to the fast lane with an exciting activation that shows just how quickly and easily men can take action for their health. Partnering with Josh and the Garage 66 team at such a legendary venue is a huge moment – we can’t wait to watch him tear up the track while bringing this cause into the spotlight where it belongs.”
Bilicki, who has one career top-10 finish in 101 career NASCAR Cup Series starts, is thankful for the opportunity to drive for Garage 66 at Bristol and to represent MANSCAPED as they raise awareness for testicular cancer.
“Garage 66 and I are thankful for the opportunity to partner with MANSCAPED and raise awareness for the Testicular Cancer Society,” says Bilicki. “I feel like testicular cancer is often overlooked, so bringing this partnership to light at one of our most iconic venues, Bristol Motor Speedway, is an incredible opportunity for us and we’re excited for the race weekend.”
MANSCAPED will also donate $50,000 to the Testicular Cancer Society in addition to the branded product line, and primary sponsorship of Bilicki and Garage 66 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The Garage 66 team made headlines last weekend at Martinsville Speedway as they provided Casey Mears the opportunity to make his first NASCAR Cup Series start in six seasons. Mears, 47, started 37th and finished 35th, 11 laps off the pace in his return race.
