Joey Logano is the winner of Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. But it wasn’t easy. On a day that was dominated by Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliott, it was Logano and his Team Penske teammate Ryan Blaney who looked poised to battle for the win.

Then, Logano began to fade as Alex Bowman began to challenge Blaney for the win.

Then, a caution in the closing laps for Ross Chastain spinning changed everything.

Seven cars, led by Logano stayed on track, while Blaney and the rest of the field pitted for tires. When the race went back to green, chaos ensued, but Logano was able to take the white flag before John Hunter Nemechek was spun to bring out the final yellow flag.

Following Logano to the finish line was Matt DiBenedetto in second.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. nabbed a third place finish, while Austin Dillon and Jimmie Johnson were fourth and fifth.

Bubba Wallace held on for a solid sixth-place finish in Richard Petty’s No. 43 car.

Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick — who led a race high 92 laps, Kyle Larson and Ty Dillon rounded out the top-10 finishers on Sunday.

Blaney ended up a disappointing 11th after pitting late.

Chase Elliott who won Stages 1 and 2 on the day, slammed into the wall with just over 45 laps to go after a valve stem was broken leading to a flat tire. Elliott would finish 26th.
