Inspection Complete: William Byron Becomes First Repeat Winner of 2022 at Martinsville

Post-race technical inspection following Saturday’s Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 at Martinsville Speedway is complete.

William Byron’s race-winning No. 24 RaptorTough.com Chevrolet Camaro has passed all aspects of post-race inspection, meaning the 24-year-old is the race’s official winner.

The victory marks the second of the season for Byron and the fourth of his NASCAR Cup Series career, all of which have come driving the No. 24 for Hendrick Motorsports.

As a result of a clear post-race technical inspection, all race results and point standings provided by NASCAR are now deemed to be official.

Both Erik Jones’ No. 43 and Aric Almirola’s No. 10 will be taken back to NASCAR’s R&D Center for a full teardown and evaluation.
