Tyler Reddick did it. He refused to lose, and on the final lap of Sunday’s Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the driver of the No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota Camry XSE launched himself into the outside lane, and powered around Ryan Blaney in Turns 3 and 4 for the win.

Following the electric win, Reddick’s race-winning No. 45 The Nasty Beast Toyota underwent post-race inspection, where the car was given a passing grade. As a result, NASCAR officially declared the driver and his team the official winners of the race.

With the win, his third of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, Reddick, who won the regular season championship, has advanced to the Championship 4 field and will compete for the championship at Phoenix Raceway.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official. The No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet and the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota will be taken back to the NASCAR R&D Center for further inspection.

Ryan Blaney was the official runner-up finisher at Homestead ahead of Denny Hamlin, Christopher Bell, and Chase Elliott.
