He didn’t even lead the race until NASCAR Overtime, but Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and JTG Daugherty Racing have officially won the 2023 Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.

NASCAR announced the completion of inspection at 11:25 PM ET, stating that all vehicles had passed the inspection process, confirming that Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., driver of the No. 47 Cottonelle Chevrolet Camaro is the official winner of the event.

Joey Logano, Christopher Bell, Chris Buescher, and Alex Bowman each retained their positions within the top-five. Similarly, the remainder of the field cleared inspection, meaning results distributed by NASCAR are now official.

As is a common procedure, the No. 17 (Chris Buescher) and No. 48 (Alex Bowman) will return to the NASCAR R&D Center for teardown.

Next for the NASCAR Cup Series will be the final event on the two-mile configuration of Auto Club Speedway, on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
