Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Instacart 500 at Phoenix Raceway has been completed.

Martin Truex Jr.’s race-winning Joe Gibbs Racing No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota Camry has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Truex the official winner of the race.

This marks Truex’s first win of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, and his 28th victory overall in the series. The 40-year old driver becomes the fifth different winner in five NCS races in 2021, and Truex snapped a 26-race winless streak with the win.

Brad Keselowski and Daniel Suarez are expected to lose their crew chiefs for next weekend as their cars each had two unsecured lug nuts in inspection.

William Byron, Kyle Busch, and Kurt Busch all had one unsecured lug nut which will result in a monetary fine for their crew chiefs.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings from this race are now considered official.
