Kyle Larson emerged victorious in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, surviving two shots of NASCAR Overtime to beat Tyler Reddick and defending champion Ryan Blaney.

Following his victory, Larson’s race-winning No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro took a trip through the post-race inspection bay, where the car was given a passing grade by NASCAR Cup Series officials.

As a result, Larson and his team were officially declared the winner of Sunday’s race.

The victory is Larson’s 27th-career NASCAR Cup Series win, and his first at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, allowing the Elk Grove, California native to be a Daytona 500 victory short of winning all four of NASCAR’s crown jewel events.

No other issues were discovered in the post-race inspection process, which means all results and standings following Saturday’s race are now considered official.

Tyler Reddick was able to get around Ryan Blaney to score a runner-up finish, leaving the Team Penske driver to drop to third. Christopher Bell finished in fourth, while Bubba Wallace rounded out the top five.
