Harrison Burton electrified the fans in attendance and watching at home with a thrilling win over Kyle Busch in an overtime finish to Saturday night’s NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Burton picked up the first win for the Wood Brothers Racing team since the 2017 season by 0.047 seconds.

Following the win, Burton’s race-winning No. 21 DEX Imaging Wood Brothers Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse took a trip to the post-race inspection bay, where the car was given a passing grade.

As a result, NASCAR declared Burton and his team the official winners of the race. This is officially Burton’s first career NASCAR Cup Series race win and the triumph marks the 100th in the history of the legendary Wood Brothers Racing team.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following the race are now considered official.

Busch was the official runner-up finisher, while Christopher Bell, Cody Ware, and Ty Gibbs rounded out the top-five finishers in the race.

Josh Berry’s No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford will go back to the NASCAR R&D Center for additional evaluation after its flip.
