Technical inspection from the NASCAR Cup Series garage at Daytona International Speedway is complete following Sunday’s Daytona 500.

Austin Cindric’s No. 2 Discount Tire Ford Mustang has cleared inspection, officially being named the winner of “The Great American Race.” The event marks the first NASCAR CUp Series victory for Cindric, in his eighth start, as well as his first start as a full-timer at NASCAR’s top-level.

There were no other issues discovered in post-race technical inspection.

As stated on Friday, any penalties assessed to RFK Racing and Team Penske for the modification of the wheels, confiscated by NASCAR after strong runs in the Bluegreen Vacations Duels on Thursday, will be announced later in the week.

Additionally, any penalties to The Money Team Racing and Kaulig Racing for the improper securing of wheels on their No. 31 and No. 50 Chevrolet Camaros, will also be announced later in the week.
