Global Industrial Company, a value-added national distributor of industrial products and MRO supplies, and extended and expanded its relationship with Richard Childress Racing for the 2024 NASCAR season.

The company will continue its relationship with Austin Hill and the No. 21 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, while also branching into the NASCAR Cup Series, where the brand’s blue and red colors will be displayed on Kyle Busch’s No. 8 Camaro.

“We are excited to partner with Richard Childress Racing and Austin Hill for another season of NASCAR racing action,” said Alex Tomey, Senior Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer at Global Industrial. “It has been an incredible experience to be part of the RCR platform, which has allowed us to highlight the products and solutions we offer, and strengthen relationships with our associates, customers, and vendor partners. Austin has been an exceptional ambassador for the Global Industrial brand, and we look forward to expanding our relationship as we team up with Kyle Busch for our first-ever NASCAR Cup Series race in 2024.”

Since the partnership between Richard Childress Racing and Global Industrial began in 2021, the company has built a strong foundation of brand equity among NASCAR fans, having served as a multi-race primary sponsor in the Xfinity Series.

In 2023, Hill was able to bring the company a pair of primary sponsor victories in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, with the second coming at the company’s home track of Pocono Raceway, with 1,6000 associate names on the hood and 150 guests in attendance.

Headquartered in Port Washington, New York, Global Industrial is a value-added distributor of a wide range of industrial and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products to customers in the United States and Canada. Established in 1949 by Michael and Paul Leeds as a material handling company, Global Industrial is an industry leader with hundreds of thousands of products.

“We are grateful for our partnership with Global Industrial to continue on a path of growth and to welcome them into the Cup Series,” said Torrey Galida, President of RCR. “Witnessing Austin win two races last season in their primary scheme and seeing the excitement of their associates and customers in victory lane was a great way to cap off year two of the program. Global Industrial has done an excellent job of utilizing Austin for employee events and as a spokesperson at their national trade show. 2024 should be even more exciting as Kyle joins the Global Industrial family.”

The company will continue to leverage the partnership with Richard Childress Racing by creating VIP experiences for customers at the track, fostering business-to-business connections, and immersing the racing program into its corporate initiatives.
