There are 39 cars on the preliminary entry list for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the 14th race of the 36-race season.
With up to 40 cars being permitted to start races in the NASCAR Cup Series, no drivers or teams will go home this weekend.
Joey Logano, who won last weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, will return this weekend in the No. 22 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team Penske with primary sponsorship from Shell Pennzoil.
Kaz Grala will drive the No. 15 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Rick Ware Racing, and Shane van Gisbergen will pilot the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
There are four “Open” (non-chartered) entries this weekend, and they include JJ Yeley in the No. 44 NY Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Ty Dillon in the No. 50 Team Amerivet Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and Jimmie Johnson in the No. 84 LEGACY MOTOR CLUB Toyota Camry XSE.
