There are 39 drivers on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, the tenth event of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.

With the maximum field size for a NASCAR Cup Series event in 2025 being set at 40, all drivers who make a qualifying lap as part of Saturday’s session will get to take the green flag in Sunday’s race.

On top of the 36 Chartered NASCAR Cup Series entries that come to the racetrack each weekend, there are three Open entries (entries without a Charter) that will compete in the event, as well.

J.J. Yeley (No. 44 for NY Racing), Anthony Alfredo (No. 62 for Beard Motorsports), and BJ McLeod (No. 78 for Live Fast Motorsports) will be the four drivers piloting those Open entries.

Kyle Larson, who won the latest NASCAR Cup Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway, will be returning to the racetrack this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, driving the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet.
