There are 38 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL, the 32nd race of the 36-race 2024 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.
With up to 40 cars permitted to start NASCAR Cup Series events, all 38 cars entered will qualify for the event, with nobody being sent home before the green flag drops on Sunday.
Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., the most recent winner in NASCAR Cup Series competition at Talladega Superspeedway, will return as the driver of the No. 47 JTG Daugherty Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with primary sponsorship from Kroger.
Among the notables in the field for Sunday’s event include Kaz Grala, who returns to the driver’s seat of the No. 15 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Rick Ware Racing. The Bank of America ROVAL 400 will mark the 21st NASCAR Cup Series start for Grala this season.
AJ Allmendinger, the defending NASCAR Cup Series winner at Charlotte’s ROVAL, will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing this weekend. Sponsorship for the event will come from CELSIUS.
This weekend’s entry list will also feature a pair of entries without a NASCAR Cup Series charter.
Shane Van Gisbergen will drive the No. 13 WeatherTech Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing and Josh Bilicki will make his 100th NASCAR Cup Series start in the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for MBM Motorsports.
