There are 36 cars [for 40 spots] on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series NOCO 400 at Martinsville Speedway, the ninth event of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Included on the entry list for Sunday’s 400-lap contest are all the usual suspects that typically compete in the series on a week-to-week basis, including Christopher Bell, who scored his first victory of the season last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Among the few notables on the entry list is JJ Yeley, who will once again pilot the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing entry, a week removed from qualifying third for the NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race at Bristol.
Anthony Alfredo, who competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for BJ McLeod Motorsports, will make his second start of the year in the No. 78 for Live Fast Motorsports, taking over the seat from anchor driver BJ McLeod.
Despite being listed as the driver of the No. 51 Ford Mustang, Cody Ware will not pilot the Rick Ware Racing entry in Sunday’s event, after he was arrested on charges of ‘Felony Assault by Strangulation’ on Monday.
