Entry List: 2022 Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum

On Thursday, NASCAR unveiled the official entry list for the inaugural Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum, which will take place on February 6th, 2022.

The event will have an initial entry list of 36 cars — all of which will hold a NASCAR Cup Series charter — with heat races and other preliminary events narrowing the field down to 23 starts for Sunday Night’s main event, which will be 150 laps.

Among the notable entries for the landmark event are:

  • Austin Cindric, driving the Team Penske No. 2 for the first time.
  • Brad Keselowski, running as an owner-driver for the first time in Cup (No. 6).
  • Aric Almirola, beginning his final full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series (No. 10).
  • Ryan Preece, beginning his reserve role for SHR, driving the Rick Ware Racing No. 15.
  • Harrison Burton, making his first start in the infamous Wood Brothers No. 21.
  • Justin Haley, running the first race for Kaulig Racing’s No. 31.
  • Todd Gilliland, making his first NASCAR Cup Series start for Front Row Motorsports.
  • Ty Dillon and Erik Jones, making the first start for the newly-formed Petty GMS Motorsports.
  • Kurt Busch, running the first race for 23XI Racing’s second entry.
  • Cody Ware, returning to Rick Ware Racing’s No. 51 (not previously announced).
  • Landon Cassill, driving for Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 (not previously announced).
  • BJ McLeod, driving for Live Fast Motorsports’ No. 78 (Not previously announced).
