It’s always fun getting to see throwback paint schemes being released in the lead up to Darlington Raceway’s throwback weekend. On Thursday, Daniel Hemric and Richard Childress Racing showcased the paint scheme that Hemric will have on his No. 8 machine for this year’s running of the Bojangle’s Southern 500.

The scheme nods back to Caterpillar’s past and it is actually a very slick looking scheme.
