With Michael McDowell’s entrance into the top-twenty in point standings, following a respectable top-twenty finish at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, McDowell and Front Row Motorsports are ready to try and make a playoff push. While over 100 points behind the cutline, superspeedway races have been kind to McDowell in the past, and could potentially be the site of an upset win for the Front Row Motorsports driver.

CarParts.com – who has been a primary sponsor for McDowell’s No. 34 in four events this season — will return to the team as a co-primary sponsor for two additional events at Daytona International Speedway on August 29th and Martinsville Speedway on November 1st.

CARDONE will serve as the co-primary partner on board McDowell’s No. 34 at Daytona in August, while Davico will adorn the No. 34 as a co-primary partner at Martinsville in November. Both races will be televised live on NBC.

“It’s been great to have CarParts.com and their partners be a part of our program this season, and to now have them grow their partnership with us even further,” said McDowell. “We are having one of our best seasons at Front Row Motorsports, and it’s because of companies like CarParts.com who are supporting us and giving us the right parts to be successful, like they do for so many of their customers.”

McDowell will look to earn his first career victory at Daytona International Speedway, a track where McDowell has finished inside the top-ten on six different occasions.

“We have been strong at most of our races this season,” continued McDowell. “But Daytona is a special track for me. I’ve had my best finishes there, have led the most laps there, and I feel it’s our best chance to get into the playoffs. I’d love to do that with CarParts.com on our car.’

On top of the primary sponsorship of the Front Row Motorsports No. 34, CarParts.com also placed the winning bid on the bumper of Bubba Wallace’s Richard Petty Motorsports No. 43 from the All-Star Race, resulting in a donation of over $20,000 each to Motor Racing Outreach and Victory Junction.

“It’s a great time to continue our relationship with Michael and the Front Row Motorsports team,” said Lev Peker, CEO of CarParts.com. “Michael has really connected with our customers, and he’s been impressive on the track this season. We’re thrilled to have CarParts.com on the car again and welcome Cardone and Davico to our race program as well. We wish Michael and the team nothing but the best through this playoff push.”
