Bubba Wallace had a very fast No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Wednesday at Bristol Motor Speedway in Stage 1 of the NASCAR All Star Open. However, after moving past Michael McDowell for third spot, late in the Stage, McDowell hooked Wallace and sent him into the wall hard, ending Wallace’s night.

Upon exiting the infield care center, Wallace was asked about the contact that sent him into the wall.

“Disrespect when you get hooked into the wall,” an angry Wallace stated.

Wallace would continue by saying, “I don’t even need to see a replay.”

It’s obvious why Wallace would be so frustrated, aside from seemingly being crashed on purpose, as he was leading the NASCAR All Star fan vote earlier in the week. It seemed like even if Wallace didn’t win a Stage in the All Star Open, that he had a spot secured in the big show on Wednesday night.

However, this crash evaporated those hopes.

Wallace then ripped into the character of McDowell, who is usually regarded as one of the nicest drivers in the garage area.

“One of — people say — is the nicest in the garage,” Wallace explained. ” [I] Can’t wait for the god fearing text he’s going to send me about preaching and praising respect. What a joke he is.”

Following the post-crash interview, Wallace dropped of a memento at the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports hauler — the front bumper off his No. 43 machine.

Yikes. Wallace is seething and left with a steaming car, while McDowell continues to attempt to chase a berth in the 2020 NASCAR All Star Race.
