Richard Childress Racing, which back on February 14 announced the addition of Boot Barn to its family, expanded on the details of the partnership on Friday, March 22. Boot Barn has agreed to serve as a multi-race primary sponsorship partner of Austin Dillon and Richard Childress Racing’s No. 3 NASCAR Cup Series team this season.

According to the press release from RCR, Boot Barn’s colors will first adorn Dillon’s No. 3 machine at Pocono Raceway on Sunday, July 14. The company will also serve as an associate sponsor during the 2024 season.

Has there ever been a more fitting combination than Richard Childress Racing and Boot Barn?

“RCR and Boot Barn share an inspirational vision of supporting their local communities and those who feed America, build America, and protect America,” Torrey Galida, president of RCR stated. “Our teams are looking forward to working together to highlight our shared values and showcase Boot Barn’s broad selection of cowboy boots and western wear to NASCAR fans.”

In addition to the primary and associate sponsorship placements on the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Boot Barn will receive unique content creation from Dillon, its newest driver.

“Richard Childress, Austin Dillon and the entire Richard Childress Racing team embody the essence of the American cowboy and the pioneering spirit at the core of Boot Barn’s mission,” said Stephen Loscko, Sr. director of marketing for Boot Barn. “Their commitment to hard work gives them an edge in their industry. We’re looking forward to working closely with the RCR team to create engaging, strategic content, as well as seeing the No. 3 Boot Barn Chevrolet on the track.”

Dillon is excited about the partnership, and can’t wait to start producing content for his passionate fanbase.

“It’s an honor to be able to represent Boot Barn, both on the track and in my day-to-day life,” Dillon said. “Boot Barn is a staunch supporter of the western lifestyle, and I’m looking forward to expanding our relationship while creating engaging content for fans.”

The partnership is also expected to feature a cross-collaboration between Dillon and Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) bareback rider and rodeo star Rocker Steiner.

Dillon, a four-time NASCAR Cup Series race-winning driver, has had a lot of rough luck to start his 2024 NASCAR Cup Series campaign, and as a result, sits 30th in the championship standings after five races. But even with the bad luck, Dillon has yet to record a DNF this season, a testament to the never-give-up attitude of he and his No. 3 Richard Childress Racing team.

Boot Barn has had a presence in the NASCAR Cup Series ranks as a sponsor for many years, including a previous primary sponsorship of Dillon and the No. 3 RCR team at Texas Motor Speedway back in the fall of 2013.

From 2021 to 2023, Boot Barn served as a primary sponsorship partner of the No. 38 Front Row Motorsports car in the NASCAR Cup Series.
