Brandon Brown, a rookie in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, has been a pleasant surprise in 2019. Not only has he competed in every race, but he has been a decent contender throughout the season despite driving on a shoe-string budget for his family-owned team.

Brown may become known by a bit more folks as we head to Darlington in September. Brown’s No. 86 machine will be designed to look just like Terry Labonte’s 1993 black and white Kellogg’s scheme.

Labonte racked up 10 top-10 finishes over the 30-race 1993 campaign while driving for Billy Hagan’s organization.

In 1994, Labonte would move to Hendrick Motorsports where he would win a second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship in 1996. Labonte is a NASCAR Hall of Famer.
