Austin Cindric went from 21st-place with under 20 laps remaining in Stage 1 of Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series EchoPark 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, to winning the Stage out-right by more than 10-seconds.

Under the lap 20 competition caution, Cindric opted to snag four fresh tires, and dropped to 21st as a result. However, with tires being a premium on the worn out AMS track surface, Cindric was able to slice his way through the field and cruised to the easy Stage 1 win.

Ross Chastain, who competed in the Truck Series race earlier in the day, was second in Stage 1 ad he was followed by Justin Haley, Justin Allgaier and Daniel Hemric in the top-five.

Noah Gragson, who won last week’s race at Bristol started from the pole, was sixth.

Riley Herbst, Chase Briscoe, AJ Allmendinger and Harrison Burton rounded out the top-10 finishers in Stage 1 at Atlanta.
