After a tough battle at Elko Speedway for a top-15 finish, Ryan Roulette and his Bellator Recruiting Academy/VFW team are set to return to Michigan for this weekend’s Henry Ford Health’s 200 at the two-mile speedway in Brooklyn.

“This will be our third venture in the ARCA Menards Series to the great state of Michigan (Flat Rock 2023, Berlin 2024) and we are excited to take on Michigan International Speedway,” Roulette tells TobyChristie.com. This weekend will mark his debut at the Speedway, one of several tracks he’s made his first start at this season.

“Our past 4 races on short tracks have been challenging as an organization, and in some cases highly rewarding.”

Roulette pulled off his second career top-10 in the ARCA Menards platform with an eighth at Salem Speedway and has finished in the top 15 of the last four races, even with a spin at Iowa and Berlin.

“What the short track really showed our team is that we have come a long way so far this season in terms of preparation, speed on the track, and ultimately that we have grit. No matter the challenge, this team continues to fight, continues to get better, and does everything in its power to get the best possible finish when the checkered flag waves,” he added.

“When it comes to the intermediate tracks we raced this season, we learned a lot at Kansas, tuned our notebook in Charlotte, and are looking to build off that momentum entering Michigan. We welcome the challenge of going back to an Intermediate track.”

Continuing his tradition, Roulette and his ties to the VFW are ready to bring in a local to help with the crew.

“We are also honored to welcome the Department of Michigan Commander Kimberly A. Napoleon as a pit crew member for this race weekend. Commander Napoleon served in The United States Army from 1987 until 1995 in Operation Just Cause and Operation Desert Shield. She’s a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans and serves as a peer leader with the National WoVeN network of women Veteran’s and its BRIDGES program, which supports Women Veterans within 1 year of transitioning from their military service. She is also a Mentor with Saginaw County Veterans Justice Treatment Court, a Commissioner on The Soldiers and Sailors Relief Commission in Saginaw County, and she is also on the Board of Directors for the Child Abuse Neglect Council in Saginaw County. We are honored to have this amazing Veteran be a part of our team this upcoming weekend.”

You can catch Roulette’s run at the Michigan International Speedway this Friday, live on FS1 at 6 PM ET.
