After a solid rebound for Ryan Roulette at Iowa Speedway, he and his Fast Track Racing team are set to take on some short track beating and banging at Berlin Raceway.
“We are heading to Marne, Michigan! When we originally put together our 2024 season sadly this track did not make it on the list. After working diligently with all our partners, we are excited to bring the Fast Track Racing #12 VFW Ford to Berlin Raceway,” Roulette said on the deal coming together.
The Minot, ND native came home 15th at Iowa and managed that after an early spin in the race. Now he and the team are looking to try and double down on the top-15 finishes. This weekend’s race is also set to be special for the ARCA Menards Series schedule.
“It kicks off that unique part of the ARCA Series schedule where we move a bit away from the NASCAR national series races and back to the roots which makes ARCA unique. When you show sponsors, partners, and fans alike the diversity of the ARCA schedule such as the Superspeedways, Intermediate Tracks, Dirt Tracks, Road Courses, Short Tracks, and then tracks like Berlin it really showcases how diverse this series can be.”
Through six races this season, Roulette has been consistent. Completing 93 percent of the laps run this season and averaging a 20.3 finish so far. This includes tracks he’s debuted at, Including Kansas, Charlotte, and his last time out in Newton, Iowa.
Now, he’s excited to book it to Berlin, not only for him but for some of the local racers there.
“We are excited, to say the least. Unique to Berlin is the support of VFW District 8 in Michigan. They support a local grassroots driver, Ryleigh Davis, who is a 16-year-old racing in SLM at Berlin Raceway. She, like my 7-year-old son, grew up racing quarter midgets and eventually transitioned to limited late models. She will be competing that night before we hit the track in ARCA in her SLM. I have been in contact with her father, and I look forward to supporting their race weekend.”
“Last year we raced in Flat Rock Speedway in Michigan as our only venture to the state. Although the VFW Michigan team had several efforts going on across the state that weekend, they were still able to support our efforts there last year,” he added.
The active-duty USAF Pilot also continues his partnership with the VFW to bring out a member of the organization.
This year, I will have the past VFW State Commander of Michigan Ramiro (Ray) Lopez as a part of our team for this race. He served in the Marine Corps during Desert Storm and has been a VFW member for the past 28 years. After his service to the Marines, he worked and retired from Ford Motor Company. We are excited to have this honored guest be a part of our organization.”
You can catch Roulette at Berlin Raceway live on June 29th at 8PM ET on FS1.
