It took a lot of attrition and survival all night, but Trevor Huddleston was able to hold on and take his fourth career ARCA Menards Series West victory at Madera Speedway in the West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame 150. This marks his first win in 2024 as well.

“Holy crap. What a race. This car was absolutely epic,” Huddleston said after climbing out in victory lane.

“Getting these wins isn’t easy. We’ve been fighting hard this year to make it happen. To be in this victory lane is pretty special to me,” he went on and proposed to his long-time girlfriend who he met at Madera ten years ago.

While there was jubilation for Huddleston’s camp, runner up Sean Hingorani was a little bit upset with the winner.

“It’s frustrating. The last restart, I feel like we capitalized good, but…ran us into the fence coming to the checkered,” the Newport Beach native said. He gestured to the damage on his Jerry Pitts machine. “Just really unnecessary, but what goes around comes around.” Not all was lost though, as Hingorani managed to get the points back with just three races left in the year.

Coming home in third, it was a career-best night for Ethan Nascimento and his team.

“It feels great to come back and compete with all these guys. Can’t thank all these guys around me enough,” the young gun said about the chance at his home race track.

Eric Johnson Jr rebounded after several issues for fourth place, and Kyle Keller rounded out the top five.

With Hingorani getting the points lead back, it means issues for Tyler Reif and his Central Coast team. After a lengthy red flag for a cleanup, the No. 13 machine stalled after the red ended and wasn’t able to re-fire. He ended up 14th on the night, now six points back on Hingorani.

Up next, the ARCA Menards Series West travels to All American Speedway on Saturday, October 5th at 10:45 PM.
