Arnie Kok, who drives the No. 01 Fast Track Racing Enterprises entry, hit the wall during practice/qualifying for Saturday’s ARCA Menards Series Dutch Boy 150 at Kansas Speedway.
However, the fun didn’t end there.
After the on-track incident, the No. 01 car was hooked up to a tow truck and taken back to the garage area. As the tow truck was bringing Kok’s car through the garage, the car became unhooked from the tow truck.
The car then skidded uncontrolled into the side of the No. 44 Niece Motorsports NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team hauler.
Kaleb Vestal, who writes for Speedway Digest, was on the scene and snapped photos of the situation and shared them on Twitter.
The 01 car just got unhatched from the tow truck and crashed into a Niece Motorsports hauler. No significant damage that I can tell. #nascar #kansas pic.twitter.com/pzP95PZxZO

Vestal says the front nose of the No. 01 car was taken away after the contact with the Niece hauler.

And Vestal also took a photo of the damage to the Niece Motorsports team hauler. The end result was a bent diesel tank:

While it’s not an ideal situation at all, Kris Wright, the driver of the No. 44 Niece Motorsports truck was able to joke about the situation on Twitter.
