Maples Motorsports has tapped Presley Sorah to compete in the ARCA Menards Series event at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on July 25, piloting the No. 67 Health Markets / GoGut Microbebiotic Ford Mustang.

Sorah, who had a strong simulation racing background, has also competed in the CRA Late Model Sportsman Series and the now-defunct Ultimate Heart of America Super Late Model Series during 2023.

The native of Cambridge City, Indiana, made his ARCA Menards Series debut in the ARCA Menards Series East in 2024. In three main series starts, Sorah achieved a best finish of 17th at Toledo Speedway with Rise Motorsports.

Additionally, in his five ARCA Menards Series East starts, he recorded a career-best finish of 14th during his debut at Five Flags Speedway, claiming this finish with Fast Track Racing.

“July can’t come soon enough,” said Sorah in a press release. “I am stoked to be able to compete again in front of a crowd full of Hoosiers, and I feel very fortunate to represent our state on such a huge platform once again.”

The owner-driver of the No. 99 Chevrolet entry for Maples Motorsports, Michael Maples, expressed his excitement for Sorah to climb aboard the No. 67.

“I couldn’t be more excited to have Presley pilot the No. 67 car for Maples Motorsports at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Presley is a talented young driver and has worked hard to make everything line up to participate at IRP. After his strong showing early in the race last year before having a mechanical failure, and our program becoming more competitive every race, we are expecting him to have a strong showing.”

Sorah will mark the third different driver this season aboard the No. 67, after Ryan Roulette and newly signed NASCAR Canada Series driver Ryan Vargas in the first two rounds of the season. Roulette placed ninth in the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway, while Vargas finished 32nd at Phoenix Raceway in March.

The Circle City 150 presented by Dutch Boy at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park will air live on FS1 at 5:30 pm EST.
