Former Monday Night Racing Champion and well-known sim racer Presley Sorah is set to bring his driving to the real world with Fast Track Racing at Pensacola in the ARCA Menards Series East.

Sorah will get behind the wheel of the No. 12 Toyota Camry for the team as the ARCA Menards Series East opens its 2024 season on March 23rd for the Pensacola 150. Chris Vanscoy will sit atop the box as the crew chief.

“This has been something I’ve worked towards my entire life. I’ve never had any other career aspirations, my number one goal has always been to race professionally in NASCAR or ARCA,” Sorah told TobyChristie.com.

The 20-year-old already has some track time in real life. Besides running a few late model races, he ran the annual Daytona Preseason Test for the ARCA Menards Series earlier this year with Wayne Peterson Racing’s no. 06. He’s also worked around the ARCA Menards Series before as a spotter in the 2023 season.

“I couldn’t be any happier than to make my first start with Andy Hillenburg and Fast Track Racing. Andy, like me, is from Indiana. It’s a great connection to have, and I can’t thank him and the entire team enough for giving me the opportunity to race their car,” he added.

Sorah also announced that the sponsor list for the racing is growing, with current partners including Otwells Extreme Motorsports (OEM Pensacola), Tatanka Sauce, Layin Coin Podcast, Running’s Racing Design, and B Blaze Vintage, among several others. However, he and the team are still working on full funding for the whole race.

As for his chance behind the wheel, Presley is ready to show that anyone has a chance at the big time.

“This is another victory for us sim racing drivers, showing that it is possible to make it into the national ranks!”

You can catch Presley’s ARCA Menards Series East debut from Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola live on FloRacing on Saturday, March 23rd at 8:30 PM ET.
