On Saturday, the ARCA Menards Series returns to part of the midwest for the penultimate race at Salem Speedway in Indiana.

Salem Speedway is a high-banked half-mile oval and the most visited track in ARCA’s history, hosting the Herr’s 200.

Looking back to last year’s race, Jesse Love took home the win after a late race pass on 2021 Series Champion Ty Gibbs.

This year, heading into the race, the points battle for the championship is tight. Rev Racing’s Nick Sanchez holds the lead by five points over GMS Racing’s Daniel Dye. Sanchez’s teammate Rajah Caruth sits third 30 points back.

Other notables in this year’s race include Jesse Love returning to the 20 for Venturini Motorsports, Sammy Smith, the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown championship, Landon Huffman, whose fresh off winning the Hickory Motor Speedway track championship, and an old friend in Will Kimmel and Kimmel Racing.
