Brayton Laster, a driver affectionately known by his fans as “The Pizza Man”, will elevate to a full-time schedule in the ARCA Menards Series in 2025. Laster, 22, will join Wayne Peterson Motorsports next season.
The driver and team will announce their full primary sponsorship schedule throughout the 2025 campaign, but Laster’s longtime partners @Cyber_Fox_ on X.com, AC-Cages.com, Cain’s Tree Service, AutoRepairVinStickers.com, Preferred Paint & Drywall, Caraggio.com, and BlueChew will be among the sponsorship partners for the Wayne Peterson Motorsports driver in 2025.
The opportunity to run full-time in the ARCA Menards Series next season is something that Laster never dreamt was possible.
“I am really excited to have the opportunity to run with Wayne Peterson in 2025. I have been racing for over 13 years at this point and never thought I would ever get an opportunity to compete full time in any sort of national series, let along the ARCA Menards Series,” Laster said in a press release.
While Laster is elated to make the move to full-time status in the ARCA Menards Series ranks, the driver doesn’t have any false illusions about what the goal is with Wayne Peterson Motorsports next season.
“I have run part-time the entirety of my ARCA career and have made starts at every type of track the series runs. I have been working and preparing myself for an opportunity like this and the opportunity has finally arisen to attempt all 20 races with a single team,” Laster said. “We are not planning on setting the world on fire or breaking new records, just going out there and finishing every single race and scoring as high as we can in points is the goal. Anything extra is just the toppings on the pizza.”
Laster, who has four top-10 finishes in 16 career ARCA Menards Series starts, finished ninth in a 25-car field at Salem Speedway while driving the No. 06 entry for Wayne Peterson Motorsports in 2024, which was the best finish for the Peterson team since the 2021 season.
The young driver has a knack for taking what comes to him, which has Nate Moeller, crew chief for Wayne Peterson Motorsports counting down the days until the start of the 2025 season.
“We are very excited to be working with Brayton for the entire 2025 season,” Moeller said. “It has been fun working with him in the past and he takes great care of our equipment, the entire team is really excited to see what he is able to do in the coming year.”
Since 2022, Laster has competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series and he’s done so for a plethora of race teams. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of results the young racer can churn out while running a full-time campaign for one singular team throughout the 2025 season.
Laster, who also has one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start in his career, also achieved an interesting feat on the virtual race track in 2022 when he became the first driver to ever complete the Mooncar 24 Hours of Martinsville event on iRacing alone.
