The NASCAR Canadian Series will remain the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for at least five more years as the sanctioning body announced a fresh, new five-year extension with the company that specializes in premium fresh and frozen consumer ready foods.

The news was made official in a press release at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Overall, Pinty’s has served as the entitlement sponsor of the Canadian Series since 2016. This new deal will keep the Pinty’s brand aligned with the series through the 2026 season.

“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with NASCAR and build on our decade long relationship of Making Great Food Fun,” said Jennifer Booth, Olymel Partnerships Manager. “We look forward to continuing to offer our loyal consumers with more great tasting Pinty’s products and even more entertainment from the best stock car racing in the world.”

Before moving in as the entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, Pinty’s was in NASCAR as a contingency partner. The company also sponsors the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, which takes place on Saturday night.

This extension is a BIG announcement for NASCAR and their NASCAR International department. The sanctioning body is ready to deliver yet another season of some of the best competition in the NASCAR umbrella with their Canada product this season.

“Pinty’s has been a tremendous partner as we work together to grow racing in Canada,” said Chad Seigler, NASCAR Vice President, International Business Development. “Their commitment to both the racing industry and the fan experience has elevated the NASCAR Pinty’s Series over the past six years. The future is bright for NASCAR in Canada, and this continued partnership will further increase fan interest and the competition level in Canada’s premier racing series.”

The NASCAR Pinty’s Series will make their dirt debut in 2022 at Ohsweken Speedway, which was supposed to occur back in 2019, before COVID-19 had other ideas. The Series will also have their first event at Eastbound Speedway, which will mark their first race in Newfoundland.

According to NASCAR, all of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series events will be broadcast on TSN and RDS in Canada and the races will be available for streaming in the United States by way of FloSports.
