Rasmussen Rolls to Race 2 Victory at Laguna Seca to Close Indy Lights Season

Christian Rasmussen cruised to victory in the second race at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, which also wrapped up the 2022 season for Indy Lights.

The 22-year-old Dane started on pole and led flag-to-flag for all 35 laps in the No. 28 Andretti Autosport machine to win by 0.8893s over Sting Ray Robb. It is the second victory of the season for Rasmussen.

Matthew Brabham rose from fifth on the gird to finish third, giving Andretti Autosport a clean sweep of the podium.

Linus Lundqvist, who officially claimed the championship in Race 1 on Saturday, finished fourth.

Jacob Abel continued his strong weekend and ended up fifth.

The No. 24 Global Racing Group with HMD Motorsports machine of Benjamin Pedersen took the checkered flag in sixth, ahead of Daniel Frost in seventh.

Hunter McElrea was in the thick of multiple on-track battles, and ultimately ended up eighth.

Nolan Siegel and Christian Bogle finished ninth and 10, respectively.
