HMD Motorsports has announced that Rasmus Lindh will join the team for the 2023 Indy Lights season. The 21-year-old will race the No. 10 GarageXYZ entry for the team.

Lindh is the seventh driver for the team in their eight-car armada for 2023 and rejoins Indy Lights after spending 2022 racing an LMP3 prototype car in IMSA competition.

“When the opportunity to join HMD Motorsports came, it was a pretty easy decision for myself and the team I have around me,” Lindh said in a team release. “A huge thank you to GarageXYZ, Peter Miller, Stefan Johansson, and every single person I have in my corner. I am happy to be back, and I will not disappoint!”

Lindh rose to prominence when the Swedish racer finished second to Kyle Kirkwood in two championships. Lindh scored five podiums in 2018 to finish as the USF2000 runner-up. In 2019, Lindh won three races in what is now the USF Pro 2000 championship, but couldn’t best the Floridian to the championship crown.

HMD Motorsports has one more driver to announce before their team is full for the 2023 Indy Lights championship. The team has previously announced Christian Bogle, Josh Green, Danial Frost, Nolan Siegel, Christian Rasmussen and Kyffin Simpson to the team.
