Juan Pablo Montoya will have a familiar look at the upcoming NTT IndyCar Series round on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

The 46-year-old Colombian is set to make his first start of the 2022 season and pilot the No. 6 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet at the GMR Grand Prix, which begins a full month of festivities that concludes with the 106th Running of the Indianapolis 500.

Similar to last year, Montoya will run the signature black and red livery of Lucas Oil at the GMR Grand Prix.

In the 2021 edition on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course, Montoya started 25th and finished the 85-lap event in 21st. However, it was merely a warm-up to kickstart his first-ever drive with AMSP for the month of May.

Later in the month at the Indianapolis 500, an event Montoya has won twice (2000, 2015), the group started 24th but charged through the field to finish ninth.
