Championship leader Linus Lundqvist led the only practice session of the weekend for Indy Lights at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
The Swede put down a flying lap of 1m16.2159s (105.710 mph) at the 11-turn, 2.238-mile natural terrain road course to lead the session. Nolan Siegal ended up second to his HMD Motorsports teammate by 0.7587s.
Matthew Brabham finished up in third, ahead of Daniel Front in fourth and Benjamin Pedersen in fifth.
There were two red flags in the session, with the first coming 21 minutes after the green flag after Christian Bogle ended up in the tire barrier in Turn 6. The second came after Sting Ray Robb stopped on track in Turn 2 with five minutes remaining.
