The NTT IndyCar Series, and the Indianapolis 500 have an official new home beginning in 2025 as IndyCar and FOX Sports officially announced their partnership, which has been speculated for months, on Thursday.
All 17 NTT IndyCar Series events in 2025 will air on the main FOX network, which means IndyCar fans will be able to access the entirety of the season without the necessity of a cable subscription. The entire season will also be streamable on the FOX Sports App.
In addition to the 17-race NTT IndyCar Series schedule, which includes the Indianapolis 500, FOX will also broadcast Saturday and Sunday Indianapolis 500 qualifying coverage. In all, main FOX will have 19 broadcasting windows for the NTT IndyCar Series in 2025.
“Adding the iconic Indianapolis 500 and delivering the entire NTT INDYCAR SERIES to the FOX Sports roster fits perfectly within our model of teaming with sports’ largest events and best-in-class brands,” FOX Sports CEO and Executive Producer Eric Shanks said. “We’re honored to be the new broadcast home to ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing,’ an incredibly special event to everyone at FOX Sports.”
With the move to FOX Sports, the NTT IndyCar Series becomes the only premier motorsport series in the United States with exclusive major broadcast network coverage of all of its races.
Along with the announcement, IndyCar released its 2025 racing schedule, which will kick off on the Streets of St. Petersburg on Sunday, March 2.
All practice and qualifying sessions for the NTT IndyCar Series will be telecast on FS1 and FS2 in 2025, and the majority of the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone schedule will air on FS1. FS2 will provide supplemental coverage of additional events.
While the media rights deal, and schedule were released on Thursday, additional announcements, including on-air talent for IndyCar on FOX, will be announced at a later date.

Let’s give Indy Car and Roger Penske a big thank you for committing to a free, over the air broadcast of every race in 2025!
NASCAR’s new package, scattered over multiple networks, platforms and subscriptions is a freaking joke. Leave it to the Captain to get it right, and put the fans first!
I got 2 things for it. 1. It’s alright. 2. NASCAR is a joke.
