Sparks flew (literally) when Tyler Reif was collected by Cole Moore, who had turned sideways in Turn 3 with two laps in Friday night’s ARCA Menards Series West race at the LVMS Bullring. Screenshot from FloRacing broadcast.

It was looking like Friday night’s ARCA Menards Series West event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring would end under regulation, but then Cole Moore, the race winner from a couple of weeks ago at All-American Speedway, lost control of his No. 99 machine in Turn 3 with two laps to go.

As Moore was attempting to regain control of his car, Tyler Reif had nowhere to go and collided with Moore.

In an instant, a shower of sparks rained out of the No. 41 car and Reif skidded to the infield portion of the track, which brought out the caution on the final lap of the race to set up ARCA Overtime.

Here is a video of the crash between Reif and Moore:

Taylor Gray, who looked poised to score the win before the caution came out, would hang on to win over Andres Perez de Lara in overtime.
