It’s time to earn a crown. The 2024 ARCA Menards Series season comes to a close at its home base in Toledo, Ohio for the Owen’s Corning 200 at Toledo Speedway. This is the 84th time the series will race at the half-mile.

It’s a milestone moment for Rev Racing’s Andres Perez this weekend. Heading into the event, he leads by 41 points. All he needs to do is take the green flag and he will lock up the 2024 driver’s championship, becoming the first ever foreign born champion in ARCA Menards Series history.

The Mexico City native could also make history in another way. He’s finished second a total of three times this season and still has yet to win in the ARCA Menards Series. If he can’t find victory lane on Saturday, he’s joining Bob Dotter in 1980 as a driver to win the title, but no races in the season.

Perez isn’t the only Rev Racing driver making history. Lavar Scott will lock up the Bounty Rookie Challenge Rookie of The Year. The series’ first Black driver to earn the honor.

It’s not all about the Rev Racing drivers though. ARCA Menards Series East Driver’s Champion William Sawalich is looking to go back-to-back at Toledo after winning last year’s outing in dominant fashion. He’ll look to add to his already stellar season, capping 2024 off with nine wins in the ARCA Menards national platform. He and his team of Joe Gibbs Racing will win the 2024 Owners Championship by starting the race on Saturday as well.

Other notables looking to end 2024 on a high note include the Venturini Motorsports crew with Kris Wright, Toni Breidinger, Amber Balcaen, Gio Ruggiero, and Brent Crews.

Fan favorite Willie Mullins is back in the car this weekend, his first time since Daytona. He’s teaming up with Fast Track Racing to pilot the No. 10 machine.

You can catch the Owen’s Corning 200 live on FS2 at 4 P.M. ET.\
