Nitro Motorsports has announced that Thomas Annunziata will return to the ARCA Menards Series to drive the No. 70 Toyota Camry in the upcoming inaugural ARCA National Series race at Lime Rock Park on Saturday, June 28.

The Colts Neck, New Jersey driver has a big weekend ahead of him, as it will be a doubleheader for the 20-year-old road racing ringer, as he’ll also climb aboard the No. 07 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado on the same day for his debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ‘The Liuna! 150’.

Annunziata brings prior experience at Lime Rock Park into the weekend, previously competing at the seven-turn, 1.530-mile facility in the Trans-Am Series, previously finishing third for Nitro Motorsports in 2023 and 2024.

So far in 2025, Annunziata has competed in the Cube 3 Architecture Trans-Am TA2 Series, collecting two victories at Sebring International Raceway in Florida and at Road Atlanta. He also signed on for 16 races throughout the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series with the newly dubbed Cope Family Racing, with a best finish of 20th at Nashville Superspeedway in his six starts thus far.

This will be Annunziata’s fifth career ARCA start. Currently, Annuniziata has a career-best finish of second, which came in the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway for Ferrier McClure Racing.

“I’ve had great success at Lime Rock in the past, and I’m really excited to go back there in an ARCA car,” Annunziata stated in a press release. “It’s a track that rewards aggression, and I think I will be able to compete for the win. I’m thankful to Nitro Motorsports for the opportunity, and I’m ready to carry that momentum into this coming weekend.”

Annunziata, who came up the ranks from go-karting to Trans-Am and ARCA competition since 2024, Nick Tucker, the team owner of Nitro Motorsports, expressed his excitement about bringing on the young driver for Lime Rock Park.

“Thomas is a proven racer with a lot of road course experience, and we’re confident he’ll be a strong contender at Lime Rock,” Tucker said. “He knows how to get around that track, and we’re proud to support him, along with Toyota, as he takes this next step in his ARCA journey.”

The Lime Rock Park 100 will air live on Saturday, June 28, on FS2 at 4:00 p.m. ET, with radio coverage provided by the Motor Racing Network, ARCARacing.com, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
