It’s been a busy few weeks for Jayson Alexander and his time with the Fast Track Racing team. Coming off tying his career best of eight at Nashville and Flat Rock he’s set to make his ARCA Menards Series debut in the General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Alexander is set to pilot the No. 10 #11 Constant Contact Ford Fusion for Fast Track.

“These races have taken a while to plan out over the last few months. With my schedule being what it is we were really lucky to put together these races with the help of some amazing partners,” the Apex, NC native said.

Jayson currently goes to school full-time and is enlisted in the United States Army National Guard. As he makes his first start on the national platform, he’s ready to take it on the 1.5-mile speedway as the short tracks he’s been on.

“Charlotte is going to be a whole different animal and something I’ve never experienced before. With it being on Memorial Day Weekend, and in my home state there is a lot of weight behind it. It is key that we learn as much as we can throughout the day so that we can execute during the race…Racing on Memorial Day Weekend is incredibly special. Being in the Army National Guard, and specifically the North Carolina Army National Guard makes this a very significant weekend. I know that I may never get this opportunity again and I want to make sure we honor all of those who have been a part of the Armed Forces. I hope I can show that no matter what you choose to do in life you can always go after your dreams.”

The 21-year-old has some great backing with the help of Fast Track and team owner Andy Hillenburg.

It’s a true honor to drive for a legend like Andy. He has been instrumental in helping me develop as a driver and putting together this plan to get me ready for Charlotte.”

His goals for the 100-lap race are simple. Keep it clean.

“For this race, our goals are first and foremost to bring home a clean car. We want to showcase our partners and have a great time, while also competing above our weight class. We are not there to just ride around.”

As Jayson heads for training at Fort Knox, he’s unsure of his return to ARCA and NASCAR, but he’s got some late-model events scheduled and hopes to get back into the ARCA car sometime this season.

“I really want to thank Constant Contact for this opportunity. I’m so grateful to have an incredible partner in Constant Contact, which gives me the support I need to compete and grow my racing career. I use their marketing tools to stay in touch with my fans, keep them updated about upcoming races, and give them a place to shop for merch. I wouldn’t be out here without their support.”

You can catch Jayson ARCA Menards Series national series debut this Friday at 6 PM ET live on Fox Sports 1.
