With short-track racing, can come short tempers. We saw some on track after the Bush’s Bean’s 200 for the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East. The FS1 Broadcast caught the on-track frustrations between Kaden Honeycutt and Landon Pembelton. After the race though, there was some tension between drivers Caleb Costner and Sean Hingorani.

In a series of interviews with Michael Massie from Frontstretch, Costner expressed his displeasure with the driver of the No. 15 for Venturini Motorsports.

“I can’t for the life of me understand why this kid…Hingorani is an absolute turd on the track,” the Dallas, NC native said in the video. “You think this kid would learn his lesson…I don’t know the first 15 times he’s done it this year. Somebody’s gonna beat his ass,” he added.

Hingorani has had several run-ins with other drivers this season. Most notably with VMS teammate Dean Thompson at the Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course. The incident resulted in the Newport Beach, CA native being suspended for one race, ultimately taking him out of the ARCA Menards Series East points battle.

Costner said that his frustration came at the end of the race when he “goes into two and punts me.” He added that he went up to the 16-year-old and said, “Understand where I’m coming from. This is my life savings. I’ve done everything I can just to be here…and he about dumps us…It’s like a racing respect thing. I just don’t understand why you can’t get that.”

Costner noted several times in the interview that the car they ran at Bristol is their only car and also ran the race back at Daytona. He was able to finish in 14th.

Michael Massie also caught up and asked Hingorani his side of the situation.

“Everything was fine. It was just another racing incident there. Everything, I think, is fine over there. No worries.”

Hingorani faced issues and damage to his car. He ended up finishing 15th.
