Chase Briscoe was able to out duel Kyle Busch to win the Cook Out Souther 500 Darlington Raceway.

Following a late race caution, fans were on the edge of their seats watching Briscoe and Busch battle it out. The Mitchell, Indiana native was able to get the lead on the restart and hold onto it for 17 laps, crossing the finish line in first.

After the race, Briscoe’s car underwent post-race inspection, where his No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford was given a passing grade. As a result, Briscoe and his race team were named the official winners of the race.

This is the first win of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season for Briscoe, and the second of his career.

With all cars passing inspection, this also means Tyler Reddick is officially the Regular Season Champion.

No issues were detected in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following the race are now considered official.

The Nos. 51 and 71 will return to the NASCAR R&D Center for inspection.

Busch officially came home in the runner-up spot ahead of Bell, Larson, and Chastain.
