Consumer Cellular, a leading force in the industry of wireless communication, has forged a brand-new partnership with NASCAR Cup Series team RFK Racing, the organization announced on Wednesday.

As part of the newfound relationship, Consumer Cellular will become the ‘Official Communications Partner’ of RFK Racing, while also serving as a multi-race primary sponsor of the No. 6 Ford Mustang, driven by 2012 NASCAR Cup Series champion and team co-owner Brad Keselowski.

“We’re always excited to welcome new partners to not only our team here at RFK, but we’re thrilled to introduce and welcome Consumer Cellular to the sport of NASCAR,” said Brad Keselowski in a team release. “As you can tell by their unique and engaging unveil of this partnership, the team is already ahead of the curve in creative ideas, and we hope to continue that this season and beyond.”

Consumer Cellular will make its sponsorship debut in the NASCAR Cup Series event at Phoenix Raceway on March 10, marking the first outing in a four-race program for the company during the 2024 season.

Keselowski will bring the eye-catching blue and orange paint scheme back to the racetrack three additional times at Kansas Speedway on May 5, Nashville Superspeedway on June 30, and Homestead-Miami Speedway on October 27.

Additionally, the company will see its presence across the No. 6 team significantly increase in the years to come, with its marks living on all of the team’s assets throughout the 2024 season. Furthermore, all at-track communication devices for RFK will feature the branding of Consumer Cellular.

“RFK brings innovation, performance, and American know-how to the track, we didn’t get into NASCAR or this partnership lightly, we watched this team’s progression throughout the 2023 season and after spending time together came away feeling like it was a great fit or us and our consumers – many of whom followed Brad’s career in the sport,” said Carter Nance, VP of Brand at Consumer Cellular. “Brad and RFK Racing have a track record of excellence and for them to count on us to be their communications partner says a lot about where we are as an organization.”

Having exponentially grown from being a small startup in the Pacific Northwest, Consumer Cellular has flourished into a 100% US-based company with more than four million subscribers across the nation.

The company continues to offer many of the same services as the leading wireless brands, but does so at up to half the price. By doing so, Consumer Cellular aims to deliver exceptional value to its customers from its retail presence and US-based call centers.

Keselowski is a championship-winning driver in both the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series, and at NASCAR’s top-level has amassed 35 career victories. Since joining the ownership group of RFK Racing in 2022, Keselowski has assisted in catapulting the team from the mid-field into consistent contention for victories.

In 2023, the Rochester Hills, Michigan native had a breakout season with RFK Racing, scoring seven top-five and 16 top-10 finishes en route to an eighth-place finish in points, just one spot behind teammate Chris Buescher.
